Relationships are the key to creating welcoming school environments for staff and students. Research also shows that students who feel connected to at least one adult at school do better academically and emotionally. Communication is the foundation of these important relationships. Many people believe that communication is based on the words we say or type in a message, but words make up only seven percent of communication. I am dedicated to helping educators become expert communicators using voice, body language and phrasing techniques to build trust and engagement with students, families and staff.
